If you need another reason to give your loved ones a hug this morning before walking out the door, here's one: it may actually help you reduce stress throughout the day. A small study examined 76 men and women who were romantically involved and found hugging helped as a stress buffer for women. Interestingly, it didn't seem to have the same impact on men. A psychologist with Cleveland clinic says hugging can also be a great non-verbal way to connect.
