The case is about G.L. Stroud and L.C. Fuller, who appealed the lower court's decision that they could be sued in Dallas County. Western Rock Company was allegedly causing damages by blasting, and the plaintiffs argued that Stroud and Fuller were responsible for it. The court found that Fuller was a member of the Board of Directors of Western Rock, owned half of the company, leased its assets, provided financial support, and continued to operate under its name after assuming full control. Stroud was supervising the Jacksboro operation and became aware of complaints of damages caused by the blasting. Despite being informed about the complaints and lawsuit against Western Rock, both parties knowingly continued with the activities.
