Arachasae are needed for the Arachas Decoction and Enhanced Tawny Owl in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We show you the location of the Venemous, Armored, and standard version of these high-level monsters in both Skellige (Druid's Camp) and Eastern Novigrad/Velen as part of Hearts of Stone. The former in Skellige will drop the Arachas mutagen with a high probability. If it does not reload from a previous save and kill it again. In both locations they drop Arachas Venom for Enhanced Tawny Owl. The Eastern Velen/Novigrad location has three Arachasae of varying type. They respawn when you meditate or fast travel out of Velen/Novigrad to another map region.

We show you how to kill them with a low-level Geralt of Rivia with a 34-point deadly precision build which has a 6 percent chance of killing giant monsters with any hit from a crossbow, sword, fist, or bomb. I killed them with a level 16 character. These arachase vary from level 26 to level 31 and have over 50,000 hit points on death march.
