In contrast, the last three years of studies are clinical. They focus on surgery and preventative medicine, emphasising practical work and visiting patients in hospitals and clinics.

There are no graduate-entry routes at this university, but student transfers are possible.

The university offers dentistry and medicine courses in English and French. Both are 6 years long. There is also a Pharmacy course lasting 5 years. Tuition fees for medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy are €8,000 per year.
There are 200 available seats for medicine and 70 for dentistry.

New disciplines are always updated and added as needed per European standards and West-European educational systems, such as Biomaterials and Bioequipments, Implantology, Management and Dental Aesthetics.

We have great news for you. There are no admission exams required, and there will be no application fee this year either. Evaluation is based on school grades, certifications and personal achievements.

There are 2 admission sessions that take place:

From February - May
From 1 July - 15 July

While there are no entrance exams, you will need to ensure all documents are up to date and in your possession so we can get started on the admissions process. Transcripts of your high school education and certificates, as well as your passport and birth certificate are vital to the process, so please have them on hand.

- Accreditation

You will get an international degree in medicine or dental medicine when you complete your studies successfully.

The GMC recognises Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine. To be accepted, the GMC’s requirements are: you will need to have graduated successfully in a course that contains at least 5,500 hours and lasts at least three years.

The university meets the criteria for registration with the GMC.
