This is video is a bit longer because this is basically three separate rides. After spending our first day in Arkansas riding the cross-country trails of Bella Vista, it was time for a change of pace at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in Bentonville. Coler is a bike park without the chair lift.
We started the day riding Coler Eastside trails via The Hub which is an elevated steel platform which branches out to Fireline, Cease and Desist, Rock Hard and Rock Soft. I was not alone in calling Fireline my favorite trail in this section of Coler. The Hub is accessible via Oscars Loop, and each downhill run must be earned with a climb back to the top.
After riding the Eastside trails, we went to Coler’s Westside trails to ride the highly rated Family Flow and Thunder Dome. At some point we decided to ride Here’s Johnny which was an adventure. I’ll include a link below to a longer cut of Here’s Johnny. Unfortunately Thunder Dome was closed due to the recent rain; however, Brooks and I returned the next day which is at the end of this video.
We all had a blast on Family Flow, and suffered for 50 minutes on Here’s Johnny, so we went for lunch in Downtown Bentonville at The Hub. Everyone had excellent things to say about their food, and the margaritas were incredible. Then it was time for an early evening and a good night sleep, since Sunday morning we would be returning to Coler to ride Thunder Dome, before riding as much of Slaughter Pen as we could.
Shout out to Jason and [ Ссылка ] for the sweet action photos at Coler! Be on the lookout for him at Coler and Slaughter Pen.
