Mangalore style anjal Masala fry |ಮಸಾಲಾ ಫ್ರish Masala fry |
Ingredients
Byadgy chilli- 20
short chilli- 5
ginger - 1 "
garlic - 5-6
vinegar - 1-2 ts
turmeric powder- 1/2 ts
coriander seeds- 2 ts
cumin seeds - 1/2 ts
curry leaves few
coconut oil for frying
peppercorns - 10
salt as per taste
Preparation
soak chillies in hot water +1 tbs vinegar for 10 - 30 mins
grind all masalas along with chillies and 1 ts vinegar ,few curry leaves and water into thick and fine paste
Marinate the fish with masala and refrigerate for 30 mins or deep freeze for 10 mins
fry in virgin coconut oil on both sides ,add few curry leaves
Enjoy the Masala fry with boiled rice
