Zimbabwe's has gone from being one of Africa's strongest economies to one of its weakest. Zimbabweans have grappled with hyperinflation, mass unemployment and widespread poverty. However, when the local currency was abandoned, inflation went down and basic food commodities became readily available in shops. Zimbabwe now uses US dollars and the South African rand. The BBC's Nomsa Maseko sent this report from Harare.
