Guitar Man by Jerry Reed. This is a very interesting song to play. After learning this tune I realized even more what a genius mind of Jerry Reed. The tuning, right hand pattern and chord shapes using trintones is incredible. The key to learning this song is patience! Very slow motion repetitive practice while slowly adding in the vocals is key. The rhythm pattern while singing reminds me of Dr John playing piano and singing over 2nd line rhythms.
