It is understood sources within Bafta are uneasy about the Duchess of Cambridge (pictured left at a Bafta event in 2011 with Prince William) attending the London awards ceremony over fears she may 'outshine' A-list stars. The Prince has missed the event the past two years which is believed to have led to 'serious criticism' of his presidency of the Academy. The ceremony takes place at the Royal Albert Hall on February 12 and will be hosted by Stephen Fry (right, at last year's ceremony).
