Called Rel and asked if two T7Xs would be better than one T9X. They said T9X is what they always suggest. Sounds great and goes deep. This is a music only system. Used Hi level inputs from my amp.Made a mistake when I said “Here’s my new T7X”…. Sorry it’s a T9X. To lazy to retake it.
As it breaks in the crossover and gain/volume change. Speaking of break in. Before you do any subwoofer crawl or anything you need to spend the time and break it in. Rel has a video and it’s written in long form. Basically 1 …. With x over all the way up and volume low Run 15 minutes with bass music. 2. Turn up volume to say 50 percent. Medium to loud. They call this the Take the family to dinner for 2 hours phase again with bass music. So fairly loud. 3. Run it on medium to medium high for 10-12 hours with bass music. I did this and the T9X definitely changed sound for the better. Then you find placement and final tuning. Every day I have to turn volume down as it breaks in. I’m at 5 clicks crossover and 12 gain/volume.
