In this video, I react for the first time to ELO performing “Mr. Blue Sky”, which I found to be gloriously happy. I analyse why that might be from a music theory perspective and come to some cool conclusions that I am excited to share with you. I also analyse their amazing performance, explain and demonstrate the vocal and composition techniques. I love this era of music, when things were so soulful and groovy!
