Dendritic cells (DCs) are a heterogeneous population of myeloid immune cells that act as peripheral sentinels specializing in antigen uptake, processing, and presentation. They are responsible for initiating adaptive immune responses, particularly antigen-specific activation of naive T cells, but also play a pivotal role as critical modulators of thymic and peripheral immune tolerance. This unique ability of DCs to induce either an inflammatory or tolerogenic response placed them in a central position in research focusing on the development of effective immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. This mini webinar gives an introduction to Miltenyi Biotec’s innovative DC research product solutions and application workflows to support your research. It covers highlight topics, including primary DC isolation and Mo-DC generation, as well as the analysis of DC subpopulations.
