We're no stranger to the Kia Niro EV, and for 2022 it gets a new corporate badge and some standard technology. This week we're driving the 2022 Kia Niro EX SX Touring.
This video was made possible with the support of Elmec and their EVduty Smart Home Charger. You can schedule, control access, and even see your estimated charging costs from the EVduty smartphone app. Use public charging stations and grant access to your own all from the app. For more information about the EVduty Smart Home Charger visit: [ Ссылка ]
It hasn't been that long since we drove the Kia Niro EV last, in fact we drove the 2021 not too long ago just before winter, and the 2019 several years ago. Not much has changed with either vehicle, although for 2022 Kia has adopted their new corporate logo across the board for their vehicles sold in Canada. This Snapshot focuses on the 2022 Kia Niro EV SX Touring, what's new for 2022.
We're trying to test the same electric vehicles in different climates and conditions which is one main reason we have this Niro EV booked after driving it last. Part of our testing goes over how this car performs in the winter, what sort of range you can expect in -20°C weather, and why you might want to consider this electric vehicle in 2022 when vehicles like the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 are hitting the market.
