So my hair is naturally a mousy brown color (cute right?.... WRONG) I love the way my hair looks when its blonde from highlights, especially around my face. I feel like it brightens up my entire look and makes me look better without and without makeup. However I also have really thin hair and not much of it, so I really can't afford the damage. I felt like I had to choose, blonde hair that was damaged and even thinner than usual or go natural and have healthier hair. I started using the John Frieda Go Blonder on my roots to see how it would lighten my hair and what damage it would cause.

I'll give my methods and tips for using this products without damaging your hair and what results you can expect if you have brown hair like me. I'll also review the difference in my hair with these hydrogen peroxide based products as compared to salon highlights.
