Featuring Dell’s typical aesthetic for Precision platforms, this little unit features a single 12th or 13th generation Intel Core i3, i5, i7 or i9 processor. How you outfit the system will determine the type of workloads this little unit can support. At the higher end it can support 2D and 3D workloads, VR and AI workloads, or spread sheets and word processing at the lower end. It’s designed to support engineers, designers, and Architects, plus healthcare, hospitality, and can be used for digital signage in a retail environment. With support for 4K and 8K displays it will take a single high-end GPU, 2x lower end GPUs, or you can use the integrated graphic support provided by the CPU. With a similar look to the Dell Precision 7865 with an AMD Threadripper Pro processor, the Dell Precision 3660 is more of a general-purpose appliance.
