Ingredients
1 tsp oil
2 cups of makhana/puffed lotus seed
1/4 tsp red chili powder/black pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp ghee
*you can always adjust your masalas according to ur taste*
Instructions
1. Firstly, Heat 1 tsp oil in a heavy bottom pan and add 2 cups of Makhanas.
2. Roast them for 4-5 minutes or until it turns crunchy on low to medium heat.
3. After 5 minutes add all the masalas and 1 tsp ghee. Ghee will provide extra flavor and it will help masalas to stick on Makhanas.
4. Again roast them for 2 minutes on low flame.
5. Turn off the heat and serve immediately to avoid burn.
6. Finally, Enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee.
