Ethan Elder, the father of Finnegan Elder, arrived in Rome Wednesday morning. Finnegan, 19, has been held in Rome since Saturday along with Gabriel Natale- Hjorth, 18, as police investigate the fatal stabbing of an Italian police officer. Elder is suspected of being the one to have stabbed the officer while Natale-Hjorth is believed to have punched the officer's partner. Deputy Brigadier Mario Cerciello Rega died after being stabbed eight times last Friday. DailyMail.com can reveal that the suspects' families have hired hotshot lawyers to defend the teenagers. Elder's mother Leah Lynn Elder is expected to arrive in Rome sometime today.
