जीवनमुक्ति -Jeevan Mukti Viveka-Svarupa-siddhi - translatation by Vid.MM.Dr.K.S.Mahaswaran
The smriti (tells the same thing): Humbleness, unpretentiousness, nonviolence, forbearance *uprightness, service to the teacher, purity, steadfastness, and self-control* indifference towards sense-objects, absence of egoism, reflection about the evils of birth and death, old age and sickness, and pain,: non_attachment and nonidentification of oneself with home, wife, and children etc., even- mindedness amidst desirable and undesirable happenings: unswerving devotion in me through the yoga of non-separateness, resorting to lonly places, distaste in the community of people**: constancy in the knowledge of the Self, thinking of the ultimacy of the knowledge of Truth*** this is defined to be the Knowledge: what is the antithesis of this ignorance'(Bagavathgita 13.7-11). identification of one ego with another is called self-identification.
