In the Avatar comics Team Avatar continue their quest to find Zuko’s mother in the forgotten fire nation village of Hiraa
when Sokka suddenly notices that Aang is making a very strange face, saying that he can detect that there is something out there from the spirit world
Aang then looks off the side of Appa and notices a large blue wolf spirit running alongside the mountain below them
But it seems like he’s the only one that can see it as Zuko looks over and sees nothing
While the gang is busy arguing, Azula uses this as an opportunity to escape and tells Zuko she will give their mother his regards as she jumps off the side of Appa
Aang immediately gives chase using his air glider and grabs Azula midair but she burns a hole in his glider and uses her lightning to cause Aang to crash as she lands and sprints away
Azula runs across a stream of water but stops when she hallucinates an image of her mother in the reflection as she rambles insanely about how her mother has been constantly conspiring to bring her down since birth
Her mother’s response saying that she loves Azula only causes her to go even more crazy
Another showdown between the two siblings
The world is divided into four nations -- the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and the Air Nomads -- each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named. Benders have the ability to control and manipulate the element from their nation. Only the Avatar is the master of all four elements. The ruthless Fire Nation wants to conquer the world but the only bender who has enough power, the Avatar, has disappeared ... until now. His tribe soon discovers that Aang is the long-lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard Aang on his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.
