1. How have you normally interpreted this parable? Will you change your interpretation in any way based on today's message? If yes, why and in what way?
2. What do you believe the application of this parable is? How is it supposed to affect how we live?
3. Do you know any modern-day Pharisees? If yes, who? Why do you consider them to be Pharisees?
4. Do you know anyone who considers themselves to be Pharisees? If yes, who and why? If not, why do you think this is, especially since you were likely able to identify and name some Pharisees?
