Bob Dylan turned 70 on May 24, 2011. Dylan inspired hundreds of thousands if not millions of musicians worldwide and his songs have been learned, performed, recorded by them ever since "Blowin' in the Wind". I never took myself seriously as a solo acoustic guitar player-singer until I found out when I was in college and beyond I'd get more dates from girls than I ever dreamed of-LOL! Most wanted to hear me perform songs by Dylan, James Taylor, John Denver, Cat Stevens and others during those exciting times.
In 1981 while living in Durango, Colorado I met a harmonica player named Mike Desch and we performed out together as well as made "demo" tapes on a small cassette player (Such as this song was recorded on) live. Mike would, several years later, record with me in a professional studio on my original songs such as "Two Crows Deciding" and "cover" material such as what I have posted here. Anyway, Happy 70th birthday Bob!
