Both are in the more expensive price range, makes it a pretty big decision, for which to choose:

The BFG KM3 is the best when it comes to off-road driving with big grove design to grab and expel materials like sand, snow, or mud out of its way. With the Mud Phobic bars, Core guard Max and Krawl-tec compound. The trade off is slight lower performance on road compares to the Toyo MTs, and shorter mileage life (20-25k).

The BFG have a much more narrow tread block design and will perform better on road and with hydroplaning. With the smaller tread block, providing smaller groves than KM3, resulting in more stability and smoothness for on road driving. The smaller groves, and smaller siping makes it good at hydroplaning and wet traction conditions, yet leading to more efficiency and durability with better tread-wear. Average mileage life span 40k, versus the KM3s seeing a shorter life span of about 25k.

If noise is a big factor for you, the larger tread blocks on the KM3s will produce much more road noise compared to the K02s.
