Over the last decades, technological advancement has revolutionized nearly all aspects of life. Tourism has not been an exception. This project explores the use of modern technology to create a digital representation of a real attraction, place, or tourist experience in a 3D world platform for travel, education, or as a way to improve the past experience for the general public audience. This is showcased in the development of an existing place called The House of Slaves, a museum and memorial to the Atlantic slave trade located in Gorée island, Dakar Senegal.
