Agnese Klavina, a young woman from Latvia, vanished without a trace in 2014 while working in Marbella, Spain. Agnes, who had moved to London for better opportunities, was known for her vibrant personality and striking appearance. She was in a happy relationship with Michael Mills and had plans for a bright future.
In 2014, Agnese took a job as an administrator at a popular nightclub in Marbella. She kept in close contact with Michael and regularly updated her social media. However, on September 6th, after a night out with friends, she disappeared. CCTV footage revealed Agnes being forcibly led out of the club by a man named Wesley Kapper, who, along with his friends, put her in a car. This was the last time Agnes was seen.
The police investigation faced significant delays and mishandling, with crucial evidence lost or destroyed. Despite initial arrests, Kapper and his friends, Craig Porter and Sean Usman, denied any wrongdoing and claimed Agnes entered the car voluntarily. The case was shrouded in secrecy, and the suspects faced minimal consequences.
In 2023, nine years after Agnese's disappearance, a gardener found a suitcase containing human remains near the coast in Costa del Sol. The remains are believed to be Agnes’s, pending DNA confirmation. This discovery may reopen the case and lead to renewed investigations and potential justice for Agnes Cavina.
