Zion is home to many hiking trails, but The Narrows is a bucket-list-worthy trail and an unforgettable journey through a slot canyon. Hikers walk through the narrowest section of Zion Canyon in the Virgin River, surrounded by towering red rock cliffs.

Doing the full 16 mile hike is a very long single-day trip with permits required, but casual hikers can still experience The Narrows from the Riverside Walk and continuing along the Virgin River as far as you like. Just remember, you'll want a good pair of hiking shoes that you can wear comfortably in water, and to always check the weather and flash flood reports.
