Dr. Gerry Curatola: A major source of chronic inflammation and toxicity could be jaw cavitations, also known as jaw osteonecrosis or cavitational osteonecrosis. Jaw cavitations is a colloquial term for simply a hole in the job. These are often called stealth infections, meaning that there's no fever, no pain, and no swelling. Yet, these lesions in the jaw have been shown to harbor a host of different pathogens, and other toxicities ranging from Lyme spirochete, Candida, mold, parasites, and even heavy metals such as mercury.

The Cone Beam enables us to determine the size and scope of these jaw cavitations which are most commonly found in the third molar areas where wisdom teeth may have been removed.
Many times, patients report significant improvement in systemic conditions, especially the gut, which is energetically connected by meridians to these third molar defects, eliminating the possibility of reinfection or the cavitation remaining.
