Attention all booklovers! Every Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Georges Brassens Parc in the 15th Arrondissement in Paris, an old and used book market (le marche du livre anciens et d'occasion) appears. Under a covered sloping roof made out of wrought iron, with tables and tables of old hardcovers, post cards, yellowed paperbacks, art books, comic books. There are gorgeous leather-bound old editions that can be had for as low as 10 euros, sometimes even 5. Although the books are 90% in French, you can usually find some English language paperbacks by keen browsing. I was able to buy 3 paperbacks for 5 euros. As a bonus, there is also a band to entertain you while you drool over all the beautiful books.
