Police detained about 100 people as officials cleared "an unauthorised encampment" on Northeastern University's campus in Boston on April 27. Columbia President Nemat "Minouche" Shafik faces pressure to step down due to her attempt to clamp down on protests that resulted in scuffles and over 100 arrests.
