Remarkably like good paper.

Tldr? Yes, it is.
But probably only as your sketch book, your personal record of your visual thinking.

The pressure and tilt function of the marker is truly pencil like.
Very shallow preserving curve of you're used to pencil.
Great feel on the screen.

Limited edition functions in the device
No colour
Files don't export with layer function.
Thing is, all the negatives could be do quickly and easily removed in a remarkable for artists. Using the new colour e ink screens, a 13 inch device and a slightly resigned software, you'd have an amazing digital sketchbook.
