ever see those “day in the life” tiktoks of people who got to take 5 naps, fold laundry, and run errands while they enjoy the luxury of working from home? cause, it must be niiiiiceee, i’m tryna be like you, my boy. idk what companies they be working at, but that's not my life.
today, i wanted to share with y’all the bts of what a realistic (wfh) day in my life as a product manager at discord is *really* like. hope this gives you all an insightful perspective on the interactions and work that typically goes on in my day-to-day remote life (as well as my personal life).
i did work quite late on this day, but i want to assure you that it's because (1) we're launching a big product that i'm excited about and (2) i'm also just not good at not working haha. i've always overworked and im trying to take small steps towards healthy productivity. it's a huge mental block, so send me tips!!
