(6 Feb 1994) The leader of the Bosnian-Serbs, Radovan Karadzic said on Sunday
(6/2) that he was hopeful that a ceasefire could be in place in
Sarajevo by Monday morning. Karadzic met the UN special envoy to
former Yugoslavia, Yasushi Akashi, the military commander General
Jean Cot and the commander of UN troops in Bosnia, Lieutenant-
General Sir Michael Rose, to discuss the proposal.
