In day six of the World Cup there was a shock win for Japan as they became the first Asian side to beat a South American team at the World Cup, beating Colombia 2-1. The same game saw the second quickest red card in World Cup history as Carlos Sanchez was sent off in the third minute. In the late kick-off Russia surprised many with their stunning start to the World Cup as they beat Egypt 3-1. But it may not have been such plain sailing if it wasn't for the fifth own-goal of the World Cup so far.
