I've been messing with RTL dongles for a few years now and have never been able to pick up HF. I have tried about 5 different realtek dongles with very little success. The RSP2pro worked almost immediately and I was picking HF from around the country. If your serious about getting HF on SDR then don't mess around with one of the realtek dongles.
