Achari Macaroni
Ingredients for Boiled Macaroni:
Water 6-7 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Macaroni 3 cups
Ingredients for Chicken Achari Macaroni:
Oil 4 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 2 tbsp
Chicken (boneless cubes) 500 g
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
National Crushed Pickle 3 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Carrot (chopped) 1 cup
Capsicum (chopped) 1 cup
Cabbage (chopped) 1 cup
Boiled macaroni
Green onion (chopped) as required
Directions for Boiled Macaroni Preparation:
1. In a pot heat water and add salt. Bring it to a boil. Add macaroni and boil until 80% done. Strain and set aside.
Directions for Achari Macaroni Preparation:
2. In a pot heat oil and add garlic. Sauté for a minute. add chicken and cook until chicken changes color.
3. Add chili sauce, soy sauce, red chili flakes, black pepper powder, salt and cook for 2-3 mins.
4. Add National Crushed Pickle and mix it well. Add onion, carrot, cabbage, capsicum, cabbage and cook for 2-3 mins.
5. Add boiled macaroni and mix it well. Dish it out and garnish it with green onion. Your Achari Macaroni is ready.
