I have always been drawn to spend my busking seasons near ocean cities. 10 years ago I played Bobby Darin’s “Beyond The Sea” with my Sydney based Jazz Band “Julien Mueller + The Full House” on warm evenings on Circular Quay and Darling Harbour.

Is there a better way to bridge my memories of those days with what I am currently living on the French ocean side, than singing this song in combination with Charles Trenet’s original version of the same song called “La Mer” ?
