Thousands of people joined the Palestinian Nakba Day protest in London, UK, today marking the 75th anniversary of the Nakba.
Nakba, meaning "the catastrophe" in Arabic, commemorates the displacement, depopulation and despair of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, during the establishment of the Israeli state in 1948.
Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israel carried out air strikes for the fifth day, with the bombardment targeting residential buildings, flattening homes and displacing dozens of families.
At least six children were among 33 Palestinian killed since the start of the air strikes on Tuesday.
