On this video of LT I feature my Tudor Surfboards 9'4". This beautiful traditional longboard was handcrafted by master shaper Wayne Rich. The board features all the characteristics of a classic/traditional longboard. Rolled down bottom, heavy glassing and 50/50 rails.
This board is a Cadillac! However, based on my longboarding background it took me some time to adapt to this type of board design. Weight shift, tail pivoting, trim and board pace are significantly different to my more modern designed longboards that I frequently surf. Now, once I set the board on a proper line on the wave, the feeling under my feet was..... magical. The board also proved to be a solid noserider.
I'll be using this board in days that are knee to chest high.
