There is no denial that it is really cold in Alaska in winter. And while I found that typical winter close is good enough for getting in and out of car, quick walk, just day to day things. But if you are going for a longer walk or taking a tour to see northern lights, or dog sledding, or hiking on a glacier, you need help. And being prepared truly dictates if you would have a great time in Alaska in winter or be absolutely miserable. I hope these tips are helpful. Enjoy the video!
