***instead of annotating this video, I just did a completely different video with text descriptions, see link below***

intellijel metropolis fixed forward mode demo
short video showing how fixed forward mode works
the setup:
-intellijel metropolis sending gate and pitch to moog minitaur
-analog four sending clock and modulation to auxa on metropolis
-elektron analog rytm on drums to help sync video/audio after the fact
-basically, I have each step set to a pulse count of 1 except for step 5 which I have set to a pulse count of 2...I'm keeping it simple for demonstration purposes, you can get much more complex
-stages is set to 8 which means the sequencer is going to step through 8 pulses and then start over
-with a pulse count of 2 on step 5, you will see the last step is being skipped
-by simply muting different steps you can change up the note sequence since it is always going to go through only 8 pulses...you will be able to see this when the step doesn't light up...I even mute enough steps to make it start counting past step 1 and then it resets back at 1 again when it hits 8 pulses
Also, I do adjust the step/div from 1 to 2 throughout the video so you can hear the steps differently...what that does is cause the gate output to go high every 1 clock pulse or every 2 clock pulses...somewhere in the video I get tired of switching it and I modulate that on AUX A (modulation from the analog four).
I will try to go back and annotate the video as well.
