Live-cell imaging opens up avenues for many applications in cell culture experiments. However, generating both detailed and overview images of samples can take a lot of acquisition time. The CytoSMART™ Omni overcomes this issue by automatically generating images of entire culture vessel surface areas at 10X magnification. This is done within just 6 minutes.
The images are collected and stitched into a “Map View” that contains information from the cellular level up to the entire overview of the vessel. The “Map View” enables you to check out every part of your cell culture in great detail.
To assist in the quantitative analysis, the CytoSMART image analysis algorithms can be used for a collection of applications. The time-lapse data derived using these algorithms are presented in graphs. You can even compare the numerical data to the visual results provided by the Map View function.
Data analysis algorithms are available for applications such as confluency, cell migration, colony counting and more.
