Here's my transcription of Fats Waller's solo, Dinah, recorded on June 24, 1935, by Waller and his rhythm. It's a fast paced little solo, with much less of the usual striding left hand. Fats uses a riff, which is most definitely borrowed from his other tune, Sugar Rose; however, the riff also could have inspired the other song. I had trouble transcribing the intro, so the beginning is definitely not accurate; however, the rest is much better. The song is a lot of fun to play, and there is lots of room for improvisation.
