Apples, berries, and tea are all natural sources of an antioxidant flavonoid called Quercetin. Quercetin has natural antihistamine effects, and can prevent immune cells from releasing histamines that lead to sneezing, runny noses, watery eyes, and other symptoms of allergies. Quercetin is also an anti-inflammatory, and works even better when combined with Bromelain, a protein digestive enzyme found in pineapple. Together, Quercetin and Bromelain enhance each other's natural anti-inflammatory activity.
Quercetin is known as a Zinc ionophore. A zinc ionophore is necessary to transport (aka “push”) zinc inside the cell where it needs to be. Zinc ionophores include Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), quercetin, elderberry, and flavonoids from citrus peels. Here's more information about Zinc and Zinc ionophores: [ Ссылка ]
