At TEDxExeter 2014 Karima Bennoune shared four powerful stories of real people fighting against fundamentalism in their own communities — refusing to allow the faith they love to become a tool for crime, attacks and murder.
Her talk was featured on TED.com and has already been viewed almost 1.3 million times.
She didn’t dream that the battle could become even harder. Here Karima shares what has happened to the people whose stories she shared over the past year.
