Puliyodharai Sadam is truly delicious. It is tangy, spicy and keeps you wanting for more. Puliyodharai is Perumal (Vishnu) Temple specialty. This temple style tamarind rice is a bit different than the regular variety.

Raw Rice - 400 GMs
Tamarind - 200 GMs
Turmeric Powder - 4 tsp Mustard - 30 g
Gram Dal - 100 g
Fenugreek - 100g
Urad Dal - 80 g
Dry Red Chilli - 70 g
Coriander Seeds -80g
Gingely Oil - For Cooking Asafoetida - 15 g
Peanuts - 50g
Salt - To Taste
Curry Leaves - As Required
