Here I am with the recipe of Mattha Aloo!
Buttermilk in our Mathura is called 'Mattha' and the recipe Mattha Aloo are made there often. The cow is available in all the houses, so the buttermilk is easily available in Mathura. Let's see how to make it.
INGREDIENTS:-
1. Boiled potato- 4-5 (medium sized)
2. Mattha (Buttermilk)- 1cup
3. Cumin seeds- 1tsp
4. Asafoetida (Hing)- 1pinch
5. Curry leaves- 5-6
6. Green chilli (roughly chopped)- 2-3pcs(increase or decrease according to taste)
7. Turmeric powder- ¼tsp
8. Water- 2tbsp
9. Salt to taste
10. Sugar- ¼tsp
11. Oil- 2tbsp
12. Kasuri Methi (crushed)- for garnishing
