FREEJAK x CAPELLA „U Got 2 Know“

"U Got 2 Know" was one of the biggest hits by the Italian Eurodance project "Capella". The track caused a sensation in the clubs in 1992, was re-released in 1993. It also was part of the 1994 second album of the same name. The song was a top ten hit in Ireland, in the UK and also topped the UK Dance Singles Chart. The early nineties were the most successful time for the project around producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. However, a new single is planned for 2023.

Freejak has created a modern bass-arp reinterpretation of the Dance classic, which not only makes the hearts of the 1990s "kids" beat faster to the beat of the bass drum due to the original organ riffs and vocal samples, but also also reaches the GenZ in the club. The track has an irrepressible power and fits perfectly into the zeitgeist in its new guise.

The producer, who is based in the UK, has not only done cross-generational quality work on "U Got 2 Know", which should not be missing on any hip Dance playlist, but has also remixed and produced for other well-known artists such as Kelis, Craig David, 2 Unlimited or Tom Zanetti. In just a few years he has earned the respect of Mojor DJs such as David Guetta, FatBoy Slim, Tiesto and countless more. Also, he has worked with different major labels.

Bereits 1992 sorgte der Track in den Clubs für Furore, wurde 1993 re-released und war 1994 Teil des gleichnamigen zweiten Albums. Er war ein Top-Ten-Hit in Irland und UK und führte die UK Dance Single Charts an. Die frühen Neunziger waren bislang die erfolgreichste Zeit für des Projekt um Produzenten Gianfranco Bortolotti. Eine neue Single ist allerdings für 2023 geplant.

Kelis, Craig David, 2 Unlimited oder Tom Zanetti remixed und produziert. In wenigen Jahren hat er sich so den Respekt von Mojor-DJs, wie etwa David Guetta, FatBoy Slim,Tiesto und unzähligen mehr verdient sowie mit den großen Labels zusammengearbeitet.
