In 1921, a racially motivated massacre left an untold number of African-American Tulsans dead. In the hundred years since, questions and rumor have swirled over the location of potential mass graves in the city of Tulsa.
Working with city leaders and citizen committees, the Oklahoma Archaeological Survey at the University of Oklahoma has brought their world class expertise to help shed light on these atrocities committed so long ago, and give closures to those in Tulsa still without answers a century following the tragedy.
