* butter
* 3 or 4 slices of salami
* 3 or 4 slices of tomato
* 6 or 8 raw onion ring slices
* 3 or 4 slices of cucumbers

Years ago, our family had a Butcher in the family that made homemade salami. So, our Danish family had an open face salami sandwich regularly. This video shows you to make a high top "Smørrebrød" with brown rye bread and a variety of delicious toppings stacked on top of each other. When we have a Danish celebration, we traditionally have Danish beer with the salami sandwich and say say Skål frequently!
