Those superstar names are all part of the NOTD resumé, a CV that grow every month. These days the duo is making its own music as well. Last year the guys put Bea Miller up front on their “I Wanna Know” it took off like a rocket – the vid has clocked 16 million views. Sam Brandt and Tobias Danielsson met as mutual fans of each other’s work on SoundCloud, but wound up going to the same Swedish high school together. When the formally raised their flag of NOTD, they’d established a signature sound that rather irresistible. Their latest track with Felix Jaehn, “So Close,” is pop banger featuring Georgia Ku and Captain Cuts. Its video boasts commuter couple dancing their way into love by on the streets of Tokyo. We invited Sam and Tobias into our studio and they invited Ms. Ku as well. Our acoustic version of “So Close” is as fetching as the original is exuberant. Share it with a pal.
