As presented at 2018’s Photonics West, OFC and the Photonics Integrated Circuits conferences, a single-mode array I/O device can be rapidly aligned in multiple degrees of freedom across two or more sides thanks to PI’s unique FMPA parallel alignment technology. The typically 99% reduction in alignment time is vital for production test and packaging economics.
